Hehehe yeah the joke was made that he would have to start using his tournament coins as focus counters now, since he'd won so many.

What Sydney tournaments? MOAB had its Warmachine/Hordes cancelled last year due to insufficient players, we're unsure if it will be held this year, and Leviathan had about 10 people last I heard? I'm told the Melbourne scene is pretty solid, but yeah, Australia's scenes are all in isolated pockets, far from each other. All the Sydney guys head to Canberra for Cancon (babies and wives allowing), but we never see any Melbourne dudes.

Though, the fact Arcanacon (sp?) is scheduled for the same weekend as Cancon each year, could have something to do with it. Interesting to note, apparently the Australian Nationals used to be held there, and then were switched to Gencon Oz, which got cancelled this year. We just can't catch a BREAK here?!!? :D

The Canberra guys are a good bunch, and very sporting. I remember one tourney where a fellow Skorne player offered me midgame to throw the match, so I'd have a chance at winning the tourney in Stampede. I thought that was pretty cool. I told him no way, of course, and my Extoller pulled off a Hail Mary shot through a wall for the win. I ended up coming second anyway. That same Cryx player won both days.

Just finished painting my Venators, and they look pretty crap, but passable. Sigh. Fiddly bastards. Ah well, they'll do... ;)
