Light JAcks are not multipart kits per box.

Sanj has got his firefly and there are no variant parts in there.

Well, I got it wrong again, and am a little surprised to see it, but what can you do.

Got me four Ripjaws it seems. Lucky me :D

It's unfortunate but the firefly dosent look like any of the othe light jacks in the body so extra arms wouldn't have been enough.

It doesn't surprise me to be honest. My guess is that due to packaging, and the fact that the extra plastic would push them up past where they wanted the price point to be they decided against it.

I'm sure, at some point, a bean counter has walked up and gone "We have a problem. They're magnetising the parts, and buying 1 kit instead of 4. Time to change things...".

While I'm not labelling them as scumbag as the Evil Empire, I imagine this would logically come into play.

And with all their production issues recently, they may just have gone "Get them out now in whatever form you can!". Who knows.

I agree mate, why sell one kit when you can sell four?

I don't really begrudge people making money from their work mind you, only if its GW nonsense levels of charging!

I know lots of people have said stuff like that, but I'm really not sure how much of a part that kind of thing would play. I'm confident they weren't stupid enough to overlook that people would magnetise the kits. These guys are hobbyists too.

What if having to include all 4 sets of arms etc for the light jack raised the price by 20%? Would you be happy paying for that, if all you really wanted was one specific light jack? I already own all the revengers and redeemers I'll ever need, and I wouldn't like to pay for those arms if I wanted to get myself a new Vigilant. I think it's a cost they can smooth out for the heavy jack kits, as the extra plastic would take up a proportianally smaller part of the product. I don't think that would be possible with the lights.

There's all sorts of things they need to balance out like their costs, the final price, shelf space etc. Based on all their criteria, it obviously made sense to produce the lights as singles. I think that's the best you can really say.

Got my Vigilant the other day. 14 pieces!

Was also surprised that it was one model, as I thought their overriding concern was shelf space?

Noises are the cost of putting all the bits in to make all variants would be the same as the heavies and people wouldn't want to pay that.

Or so I hear on the grapevine. Don't quote me!
